Joakim Curran Larssonis a baritone and singing teacher atMalmö Music School, with a solid classical education and strong roots in professional music life. He trained atthe Royal Danish Academy of Music, where he completed both bachelor's and master's degrees in singing, and works as an opera singer, concert soloist, and teacher.

As a baritone, Joakim has appeared in numerous opera productions in Sweden and Denmark, including atSmålandsoperanandDet Kongelige Teaterin Copenhagen. His repertoire includes works by composers such as Mozart, Puccini, Donizetti, and Bizet. In addition to the opera stage, he regularly performs as a soloist in major vocal works, includingCarmina Buranaand Handel'sMessiah.

Joakim is also a dedicated lied singer and, together with his piano partner, has been awarded a prize inthe Copenhagen Lied Competition, reflecting his in-depth work with musical text, expression, and ensemble playing.

As a singing teacher in Malmö, Joakim teaches children, young people, and adults with a focus onclear structure, long-term progression, and sustainable singing technique. His teaching is based on a classical technical foundation where technique, ear training, musical understanding, and repertoire are developed in parallel. He sees the voice as an instrument that interacts with the whole body and therefore works consciously with function, stability, and musical independence.
