Christoffer Cederstrand
Guitar and trumpet teacher
Christoffer Cederstrand is a graduate subject teacher specializing in pop/rock at the Malmö Academy of Music. He is an active musician playing in the Gothenburg-based bands Sacred and Katana, with whom he has played and toured both in Sweden and Europe. Christoffer is a genre-broad musician and educator who teaches in several genres, such as pop, rock, jazz and blues.
He has participated in projects with prominent artists such as Svante Thuresson, Georg Riedel, Rigmor Gustafsson, Sofia Kjellgren, Samuel Ljungblahd, Roger Pontare and Viktoria Tolstoy. These experiences have given him a deep understanding of the many forms of musical expression and an ability to adapt his teaching to the needs and goals of each student.
Christoffer has experience of teaching both children and adults and adapts his teaching to the individual's wishes and conditions. His pedagogical philosophy is based on tapping into the student's interests and goals, and creating an engaging and inspiring learning environment. By providing structured and supportive teaching, he helps his students to develop both technical skill and musical understanding.
Christoffer also leads guitar ensembles for children and pop/rock and blues ensembles for children and adults. He strives to give the youngest students a positive and stimulating start to their musical journey through playful and educational activities.
