The course is aimed at children aged 4-6 years, but to adapt the teaching to the children's development, they are divided into groups where 4-year-olds are in one group and 5-6-year-olds in another.
This course is not just an introduction to music - it is a place where passion for music can flourish and where every lesson becomes an adventure.
The creation of Musical Stars
Imagine your child sitting at the piano, little fingers pressing the keys, while their voice fills the room with joy and melody. Our course offers a combination of individual piano lessons and group singing lessons, providing a perfect balance between technical skill and musical understanding.
Structure of the course
- Year 1: An exciting start with basic piano techniques and singing exercises that inspire and engage.
- Year 2: Further development of musical understanding and expression, where children begin to find their own musical language.
Lessons that Inspire
- Piano: Individual lessons once a week (30 min), where we focus on pitches and mechanics using the beloved books "Little Piano Rocket" and "Big Piano Rocket".
- Singing: Group lessons once a week (40 min), where children develop their ear and a deeper understanding of rhythms in a fun and social environment.
After these two years, children are ready to continue their musical journey, whether they choose to continue with piano and singing or try another instrument. Our comprehensive education extends all the way to high school, giving every student the opportunity to flourish as professional musicians.

Children who start early also show better performance in math and language later in life. Music strengthens memory and concentration - skills that are invaluable in school and life.

The course runs throughout the year with 40 piano lessons and 34 singing/aural/rhythm lessons per year (17 in the fall and 17 in the spring). Children are given 12 weeks of leave to be agreed between teachers and parents, usually 3 weeks over Christmas/New Year, 3 weeks during the holidays (sports/autumn/Easter) and 6 weeks in the summer.
